Legal Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Abacela. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Abacela.com are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required. 

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the restrictions of many state laws, we only ship wine to those states where direct shipment is permitted by law. These states include: AK, AL*, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IA, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI and WY. 
 
*Alabama residents; We can ship to your ABC store with the Direct Import Authorization Form submitted to us before shipment.

UPS Ground is Abacela carrier of choice. If you wish to ship via FedEx Ground or Air service, please call Abacela for pricing.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Abacela is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. Instead, we prefer to wait for more tepid weather or upgrading your shipment to Air delivery.
