In the early 1990s, an adventurous couple, Earl and Hilda Jones, embarked on a journey west to plant Tempranillo and other exotic vines like Albariño in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Success came immediately. Now, with perhaps the oldest Albariño vines in America and years of experience, we are producing Albariño in this fresh, assertive, flavorful, bubbly version that carries all the essence of the variety. Green apple, lychee, and honey suckle. Notes of floral, buttered scone, yeast rising dough, wet stone, and butterfly bush. Bright acidity and apple flesh on the palate with hints of nuttiness and yeast notes on the finish.
